Why you might be confused about my love for SF…

Once again I’m on my way back to California, this time for a couple conferences and I’ve got several clients lined up for work while I’m out there. I love visiting this place for many reasons, but none more important than the fact that the technology community there is so many leaps and bounds above the rest of the country. The valley has a reputation for a reason, and its just exciting to be out there.

You may be reading this blog wondering why on earth I even care about the technology community and what is going on in San Francisco. My honest answer to that has to be that photography is a passion that turned into a profession, and it really is a small part of what I represent myself as personally. I am a technologist, and with that I have a strong interest in the business world surrounding the tech world. I study startups, I follow individual business leaders and investors, I code, I network like crazy, I am personally involved in three different early stage startups, and I have a side consulting business. I’m busy to say the least, but its what I love to do…
